RPMS Vision Statement
Click on the links below for more info on how to be/raise a successful student.
"In the end, there is no program or policy that can substitute for a mother or father who will attend those parent/teacher conferences, or help with homework after dinner, or turn off the TV, put away the video games, and read to their child. I speak to you not just as a President, but as a father when I say that responsibility for our children's education must begin at home". - President Barack Obama

RPMS Organic Garden Project
The 8th grade science teachers at Rogers Park Middle School have been working with Mrs. Rowe, the phys ed teacher, and, our retired media specialist, Mrs. Myers-Letson to bring a student organic garden to our school. We plan on starting gardening projects with students in April 2010. Many discussions and steps have been taken to achieve that goal, and now our team is reaching out to our community to help us make this project become a reality. We're asking for donations of garden tools and supplies. We're also looking for parents interested in using the garden during the Summer. Please contact Mr. deCastro at decasb@danbury.k12.ct.us.
