Public Domain: work that is able to be copied without worrying about Copyright. You should still cite your source if you use work in the public domain.
Copyright: a U.S. law that protects the authors and creators of work. Nobody is allowed to copy work that is “copyrighted” without the permission of the author or creator.
Cite: to give information as to where you got the work you are using
Graphics: any work that is visual: pictures, clip art, photos, scanned drawings, etc.
Audio: sound recordings: voice recordings, music, sound effects, etc.
Fair Use: a special part of the Copyright law that allows students and teachers to use copyrighted materials for educational use.
Text: the “written word”: all or any part of:  stories, poems, essays, books, or words on a web page.
Lyrics: the words to songs. Lyrics by themselves are text, and are covered by those copyright rules.
