A Note from Mr. Wachowski
Dear Parents and Guardians:
It is hard to believe it is already May!! Spring is in full bloom, our Stadley Rough students continue to work hard, and we have many exciting events coming up this month. Our Spring Buy-One/Get-One- Free Book Fair will take place from May 13-16 in the Media Center. More specific details regarding the Book Fair will be sent home in a separate flyer. Our annual Field Day is scheduled for Friday, May 17 (Rain Date: Thursday, May 23). Mr. Ruggiero is hard at work planning for a fun-filled and exciting day for everyone. We have two concerts planned for May as well – our Kindergarten students will be performing on May 1 at 9:30 AM, and our Grade 4 students will be performing on May 21 at 7:00 PM. In addition, our Literacy and Math Specialists, Bonnie Caton and Laura Mead, will be conducting a Literacy and Math night for parents of students in Grades K-2 on May 28 at 6:30 PM. Please plan on attending as we will be discussing some very important information about the development of early literacy and numeracy skills as well as talking about how to maintain and strengthen those skills during the summer break. Many grades and classes will also be participating in Spring Field Trips – information regarding those events will be sent home in separate notices.
