Danbury Quilt by the Third Grade Students at Pembroke School

Mrs. Daly's class in 2008 culminated their studies of Danbury history by creating a hand-painted quilt that reflects important people, places and events in their city. 

For each quilt square represented, students conducted computer research to find out about their subject.  Students also enriched their classroom learning experiences and research with a walking tour to many of the represented locations in downtown Danbury.
