CLASSROOM ASSIGNMENTS
Letters will be mailed home the week before school begins to let AIS students know who their classroom teacher will be. Expect your letter to arrive by Friday, August 22. Kindergarten students will receive their classroom assignments on Wednesday, August 20 at Kindergarten Orientation.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Students will be provided with everything they need, so there is no list of necessary supplies for parents to purchase. Classroom teachers may share a “wish list” with students after school begins, but no purchases are required. Your student should have a backpack or bookbag to carry items between school and home and a lunch container if bringing lunch from home.

Monday, August 25 - First Day of School (full day) 
Monday, September 1 - No School, Labor Day
Sunday, September 7 - AIS Family Fun Day. 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday, September 9 - PTO Meeting 7:00 p.m. in the media center
Friday, September 19 - NO SCHOOL for students, Professional Development for teachers
Thursday, September 25 - NO SCHOOL, Rosh Hashanah
