- 1. Investigate what jobs fall within that particular job cluster.
- 2. Investigate what it will take to do that job ( on-the-job training,
going to school, a combination of both.)
- 3. Investigate potential job availability, salary, benefits of the job.
- 4. Talk to people about the job!

- 1. Visit, do a job shadow or internship to see what it really takes to
do the job.
- 2. Do I still like the job after seeing it?

- Program Components
- Vocational Training at community worksites for 20 hrs per week
- Dept of Labor seminars each month at the Dept of Labor Office
- Monthly mobility training through HART and the Kennedy Center
- Group discussions twice a month with counselor from the Women’s Center
- Monthly consultation with Danbury Hospital Dietary Dept
- Night School (optional) Mon. and Wed. nights 5:30 – 7:30 pm
- Parent Resource Group – meets monthly
