A new activity at MRI is the Open Media Night.  Once a month the media center at MRI is open from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.  During this time MRI families can come and share the wonderful books that are housed in the library.  Staff members are present to talk and read with the families.  Ms. Rothman, MRI media specialist, and Mr. Scails are the creators of this event. During the December event Ms. Rothman organized a table where families could work together and complete a project.  The project featured snowflakes and was inspired by the book ‘Snowflake Bentley’, author Jacqueline Briggs Martin.  Watch for the notice every month for the date of this event.  Below are pictures of the fun night that was had by all in December.
