A Glimpse of Our School 

King Street Intermediate School, which serves approximately three hundred students in grades three through five, is part of a two-building complex set in a campus arrangement. The school is located in a beautiful suburban area on a large tract of land which affords many outdoor experiences for both the students and the community at large.

A strength of the school is the dedication and commitment of the staff blended with a high level of parent support. The parent organization provides enriched experiences for the students as well as volunteering time to reinforce the instructional program.

School goals continue to place emphasis on high expectations for every child. The focus of the instructional program is on the acquisition of basic skills. There is, in addition, a commitment to preparation for future learning, exposure to career information, and the development of community responsibility and good citizenship.

Parents are encouraged to be an active part of the educational process and are always welcome as partners in that endeavor.
